How to Root the ZTE Force 4G LTE
Who doesn’t like being rooted? If you happen to own the ZTE Force 4G LTE smartphone, you’d be glad to know that a root method has popped-up allowing the said device’s users to use root-access and modify their devices the way they want to. It’s a one-click procedure and shouldn’t take too long to properly root your device. So, here’s how you can go about rooting your ZTE Force 4G LTE smartphone:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. This should work on Windows based PCs only.
3. You should have appropriate drivers installed on your PC. The drivers are available on your device.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Root Package (Download link’s available in the first post)
III. Rooting the ZTE Force 4G LTE:
1. Download and place the Root Package archive on your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn OFF your device
4. Turn it back on by holding down Volume UP+Power buttons together.
5. Your device should reboot into the FTM Mode.
6. Plug-in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
7. Open a Command Prompt Window on your Desktop. To do that, simply hold down the Shift button and right-click anywhere on your Desktop and choose Open command window here.
8. Type in following command into the Command Prompt Window:
root
9. During the root process, your device should reboot. When so happens, just hold down the Volume UP button so your device doesn’t go to normal mode.
10. It’ll continue the rooting process and you should be able to know when your device’s been rooted.
11. You’re done!
Excellent! You’ve successfully rooted your ZTE Force 4G LTE and all those root-only apps are now a touch away from you!
IV. Flash a Custom Recovery Image (Optional):
1. If you would like to flash a custom recovery image in order to flash custom ROMs, head to the How To Flash a Custom Recovery Image on the ZTE Force 4G LTE to learn how to do that.

The Root package in the link is the ZTE Avid 4g root (MetroPCS) .zip . Is that the package to download or should you grab the ZTE Force4g root.zip ? Either way I have yet to figure this method out.
