How to Unroot the XOLO X1000

Need to send in your device for warranty reasons? Make sure you unroot it first so you can have your warranty reinstated and then you can bring it to the service center without any issues. Here’s how you can go about unrooting your XOLO X1000:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.

2. You should have appropriate drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, download the drivers from here.

3. This only works on Windows based PCs.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Stock ROM

2. SP Flash Tool (Download link’s available in the first post)

III. Unrooting the XOLO X1000:

1. Download and place both files onto your Desktop.

2. Extract files from both archives over to your Desktop.

3. Double-click on SP Flash Tool executable file and it should launch.

4. Click on Scatter-loading in the tool and select the Scatter file available on your Desktop. It’s one of the files you extracted from the Stock ROM archive.

5. Turn OFF your device.

6. Pull the battery out of your device and put it back in after a couple of seconds. Do NOT turn on your device.

7. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

8. Hit Firmware->Upgrade button in the tool and it’ll begin flashing the firmware on your device.

9. It’ll take some time to flash the firmware, so sit back and relax.

10. Once the firmware’s been flashed, reboot your device.

11. You’re all done!

Awesome! Your XOLO X1000 is now unrooted and has its warranty reinstated!
