How to Root the XOLO X1000
Have a XOLO X1000 smartphone and wish to install root-only apps on it? No problem, this guide should help you root your device so you can enjoy the root-only apps on your device. The procedure to root the device is as easy as pie and you should be able to do it successfully even if you haven’t rooted any device before. Here’s how:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. You should have required drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, get the latest drivers from this post.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Cydia Impactor (Download link’s available in the first post)
III. Rooting the XOLO X1000:
1. Download and place the Cydia Impactor archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by going to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.
4. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.
5. Double-click on Cydia Impactor executable file and it’ll launch.
6. Select # drop SuperSU su to /system/xbin/su from the dropdown menu and hit Start.
7. It’ll start rooting your device, shouldn’t take too long to finish.
8. Once it’s done, reboot your device.
9. You’re now rooted!
Brilliant! Your XOLO X1000 is now rooted and you can load your favorite root-only apps on it without any issues!
