How to Unroot the HCL ME U2

Maybe you’ve screwed-up your HCL ME U2 device? Maybe you want to send it to the service center for repairing? Either way, this guide should help. Unrooting your HCL ME U2 will reinstate your warranty so you can then take your device to the center and get it repaired without any issues. The procedure to unroot the device is as easy as pie. Here you go:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure might not work for you.

2. You should have required drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, get the latest drivers from here.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Unlock Root

III. Unrooting the HCL ME U2:

1. Download and place the Unlock Root file onto your Desktop.

2. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.

3. Once it’s been turned ON, plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

4. Double-click on the Unlock Root executable file and it should launch.

5. Click on Unroot button in the tool and it should begin unrooting your device.

6. Once you’re unrooted, reboot your device.

7. You’re all done!

Great! Your device’s been successfully unrooted and your warranty’s been reinstated!
