How to Root the Tecno B3
Having root-access on your device allows you to perform a number of activities that can’t be done on an unrooted device. For example, you can install root-only apps that leverage your system files to provide you with some extra features, you can uninstall system apps that you think are nothing but just a waste of memory space. Sky is the limit. The guide below shows how you can root your Tecno B3 device and get the Superuser app up and running on it:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. This only works on Windows based PCs.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. eroot (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Rooting the Tecno B3:
1. Download and place the eroot archive onto your Desktop.
2. Unzip files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.
4. Once it’s been enabled, plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.
5. Double-click on the eroot executable and it’ll open.
6. Hit the big Root button and it’ll start rooting your device.
7. Once you’re rooted, your device should automatically reboot. If it doesn’t, try rebooting manually.
8. You’re done!
Great! Your device’s been rooted and you now have Superuser app in your App Drawer to help you manage root-permissions!
