How to Unroot the Prestigio PAP5000

Maybe you’ve screwed up your Prestigio PAP5000 smartphone? Maybe you want to send it in for warranty reasons? Either way, this guide should help you unroot your device. Unrooting will reinstate the warranty that you lost when you rooted your device and once you’re done with the procedure below, you’ll be able to take your device to the service center without any unexpected questions. Here’s how you can unroot your device:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure may or may not work for you.

2. This procedure works on Windows based PCs only.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Root Package (Download link’s given in the first post)

III. Unrooting the Prestigio PAP5000:

1. Download and place the Root Package archive on your Desktop.

2. Unzip files from the archive over to your Desktop.

3. Enable the USB debugging option on your device by heading to the path Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.

4. Once it’s been enabled, plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

5. Double-click on the RunMe.bat file available on your Desktop.

6. Choose Unroot option in the tool and it’ll start unrooting your device.

7. Reboot your device once it’s been unrooted.

8. You’re all done!
