Sprint Confirms the First Batch of LTE Cities: Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio to be Upgraded First

We were all expecting 2012 to be Sprint’s year concerning converting its WiMAX network over to LTE. It appears that the Microsoft team has been working on four new Xbox Live games that are expected to hit the Windows Phone Marketplace any day now. The four new games are described as “optimized for the newest Windows Phone 7.5,” and include: Age of Zombies by Halfbrick, Bullet Asylum by UberGeekGames, geoDefense Swarm by Critical Thought, and Tamagotchi by Namco. Sprint Provides LightSquared 30 More Days to Gain Approval of the FCC, Deal Isn’t Dead Yet

Earlier in 2011, Sprint and LightSquared committed to a 15-year deal, which had the two companies on track to share spectrum and equipment as they both developed and grew their respective LTE networks. However, the deal was contingent upon LightSquared’s ability to gain the FCC’s approval over the use of a difficult piece of spectrum. Originally, Sprint provided LightSquared with a December 31st deadline, which has now come and gone. Microsoft Discontinues Approved ChevronWP7 Unlocker, For Now Anyways

Only two short months after ChevronWP7 began selling Microsoft approved $9 “tokens” to unlock WP7 handsets, the tool is now being discontinued. According to WPCentral, ChevronWP7 struck a deal with Microsoft outlining that they would not sell more than 10,000 tokens. It appears that ChevronWP7 has officially sold out of its 10,000 available tokens and has no immediate plans to negotiate with Microsoft for more. Leaked Memo Has White Epic 4G Touch Headed To Sprint in January

Move over T-Mobile, Sprint is about to take a bite out of the white Galaxy S II action that only T-Mo customers have been relishing in here in the states. According to a leaked memo obtained by SprintFeed, the Now Network is expected to get its very own white variant of the GSII on January 8th, 2012. Leaked Verizon Memo Outlines $2 Fee For Paying Your Bill: ACH or Autodraft the Only Way to Avoid Fee

We knew that with a new year upon us change would be inevitable, and it looks like Verizon customers are soon to see a big change in Big Red’s billing policy. Verizon Deals With Third 3G/4G Network Outage This Month

Yet again, Verizon’s 3G and 4G data network has gone down in a rather random and irregular fashion today. Big Red users in New York City, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco and Portland are among those to report problems. Seiko Epson Announces $80 Million Settlement With Nokia: Marks An Extraordinary Loss for Epson

Seiko Epson broke the news today that it has agreed to settle with Finnish handset manufacturer Nokia for the sum of $80 million USD after nearly two years of litigation.
