This is Airdrop for Android

There are two big features that every iOS user mentions when they’re referring to some of the ways iOS is better than Android: iMessage and Airdrop. While I don’t have a solution for iMessage on Android, I think I might have found a decent Airdrop for Android equivalent. Let me show you. Not too long ago Google released an app for Android that was meant to help you organize the files on your phone, help you optimize storage, etc. but it happens to have a feature in it that lets you transfer files between two Android phones and it is […]

Asus ZenBook Pro Duo Complete Walkthrough

This is the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo and its big differentiator is pretty easy to spot: it’s a laptop to two screens. Display(s) You’d think that maybe means that they are aren’t great screens then, but you’d be wrong. The primary screen is a 15.6″ 4K UHD resolution 16:9 aspect ratio OLED display. And because its OLED, it has an insane contrast ratio of 100,000:1. A lot of this has to do with the fact that OLED technology allows for brightness to be controlled on a per pixel level so parts of an image that need to be black can

Razer Blade Pro 2019

Razer Blade Pro 17 (2019) Complete Walkthrough: Their Most Powerful Laptop Ever

The Razer Blade Pro (2019) is the latest in Razer’s less popular but top of the line Pro line up. If you’ve seen Razer Blade Pro’s of the past, you can kind of understand why most people looking for a gaming laptop go for the much better selling Razer Blade 15 (I myself made that choice a couple of times). For one, the Pro has always been this massive 17″ laptop with tons of power but the calling it a laptop seemed to be a pretty loose term. The new 2019 model, though, while not terribly portable, is following the

Pixel 3a Complete Walkthrough: Pixel Camera for Half the Price!

In a surprising move, Google has released a cheaper version of the Pixel 3 and 3 XL–okay so it was leaked everywhere and not a surprise at all, but still, it is an interesting move. I already did a day in the life video where I put its camera up against some other phones and checked to see how long it would take to kill the battery during normal use. Feel free to check that out here. In this video, however, let’s do a more detailed dive about everything the Pixel 3a is and do a complete walkthrough. First, check

Pixel 3a 11am Battery

Pixel 3a Real-World Test

Google just released the new Google Pixel 3a, its budget-friendly Pixel. It has the same camera as the Pixel 3, but for half the price. So what’s the catch? I decided to find out by doing a real-world test and used it throughout a normal day, compared the camera to other devices out, and check in on the battery at regular times to see how that was holding up as well.

6 Super Easy Ways to Protect Your Online Privacy

There’s a lot of talk about protecting your privacy online lately (big thanks to Facebook for a good portion of that coverage). And even though it’s a buzzy topic right now, it’s not without some merit. There is more and more data being collected on you and me every day, and while advertisers are using most of it, some of it is being collected for more nefarious reasons. Because of this, I figured maybe I’d put together a quick video on how to protect your privacy online whether you’re trying to stop juggernaut companies like Facebook and Google, or hackers,

Switch to Instagram Creator Profile

Instagram Creator Profile vs. Business Profile

I logged in to my Instagram profile today on a new phone (we can’t talk about the phone just yet, but videos coming soon 🙂 ) and was greeted by a small popup asking me if I wanted to switch to the new “Creator Profile”? Now, like most “creators,” I have always used the Business Profile option for my Instagram account since, unlike the only other option, the Personal Profile, it has some analytics available to allow you to optimize content, engage with users, and, well, treat it more like a business. It seems though that Instagram wants to change

Best Mesh Wifi

The Best Mesh WiFi Systems For Every Scenario

I did a video not too long ago explaining what mesh wifi is and why you should totally get a mesh wifi system. But, now, I want to try and answer the next obvious question: which is which mesh wifi do you get? So I bought a bunch of them and tested them all and now I believe I have a good list of the ones I think are the best mesh wifi systems you can buy right now and which scenarios each one might be best suited for. Razer Core X Chroma: The Ultimate eGPU Dock

I’ve been using the Razer Core X with my Razer Blade Stealth for a while now, and it’s great. I have a GTX 1080Ti in it and it’s plugged into an ultrawide monitor, all of which translates to a great dock to edit my videos on and charge the laptop via the same cable, etc. I have to admit though, I used to have the Razer Core v2 and despite its much higher price tag, there are two things I missed from it that the Core X didn’t have: ports besides the sole Thunderbolt port, and, obviously, brightly colored LEDs.

What is ULED?

What is ULED? (& Its One Killer Feature)

So there are a lot of acronyms in the TV world and it can be seriously confusing. Recently, though, there’s been more and more buzz around a particular one that I want to talk about: ULED. ULED is technically the name for a set of proprietary technologies that the company Hisense has created for its LED televisions. There’s a lot to that though and one huge benefit of ULED that we’ll get to in a bit. Full disclosure before we get started, HiSense reached out sent me one of their latest ULED TV’s, the H8F, to do this video with.

Sony HT-Z9F Soundbar Complete Walkthrough: Closest to Theater Sound You Can Get for the Money

This video is way overdue. I’ve been slammed with travel and other content and the fact you can’t do a video on a soundbar without being in a house, doesn’t help. Regardless, I finally got some time with the Sony HT-Z9F Sound Bar and, well, I’m mad I didn’t get to it earlier. More on that later, though. Right now, let’s start this complete walkthrough with what precisely this HT-Z9F Sound Bar’s hardware consists of. Hardware The Sony HT-Z9F is Sony’s latest 3.1 surround sound soundbar that they claim can deliver 7.1 Dolby Atmos and DTS:X sound for less money.

Galaxy Fold Tips and Tricks Thumb

Samsung Galaxy Fold Essential Tips & Tricks

I’ve had enough time now with the Samsung Galaxy Fold and have learned a lot about how I, and I think most people, will end up using it when they do eventually get it. So now, I think I have a few tips and tricks that might help anyone that ends up getting one (and could be insightful for anyone just curious about the device and how it’s used anyway). For these, I’m going to try and not go into much of the same things that can be applied to another Galaxy phone (there will be some overlaps, of course),
