Millennial Media, a private mobile ad network, has released some graphs showing Android devices are about to top Apple’s iOS for operating system impressions. The chart above shows that shows Apple is at 46% while the Android is 29%. The CyangenMod website is showing off something interesting. There are some documents showing some open features being worked on for the CM6. One of the features that’s being worked on is called drunk mode. The best way to explain the drunk mode is, you put your phone on drunk mode before you start drinking or hand your phone to your kids, and it will keep you or your kid from making calls and text. When Motorola released the Droid X they said it couldn’t be rooted, but they were quickly proven wrong even with a locked boot loader, custom ROMs, and being flashed daily. One thing that hasn’t been done until now is having the Droid X overclocked that 1GHz TI OMAP processor.
