T-Mobile is testing a new software update for the G2 that adds the WIFI calling app and enables the missing mobile hotspot feature. The update was reported by a user on the xda-developer forums who said he received the new firmware by OTA and it was labeled as a test. MyTouch Original Receives Android 2.2 OS This Week

Back in July T-Mobile promise to its employees that the MyTouch original will get Android 2.2 and now they are fulfilling their promise. Motorola Announced Seven New Android Phones And Only One Has an Outdated Android OS

Last week at CTIA in San Francisco, Motorola announced seven new android phone for the U.S. but only one has Android 2.2. Motorola doesn’t have the best record on updates, just ask any CLIQ, Back flip, or Devour owner. But the good news is the other six phones has Android 2.1.
