For all the HTC Thunderbolt users out there, this could possibly be the news you were waiting for. Droid-Life reported that the Thunderbolt could possibly receive the Gingerbread update as early as June 30. Blurry images of the update notification surfaced yesterday which sparked initial rumors, and now have Thunderbolt users unsure of what to expect at the end of the month. According to sources at Verizon, the Gingerbread update could also include Skype with Video. Skype may not be the only video chat option as mention of adding Google Talk could also surface as part of the update.
