Google+ App For iOS Waiting On Apple Approval

Currently a HTML web app is acting as a temporary place holder for Google+ users on iOS. Android is one step ahead by already having a native Google+ app approved and ready.Meanwhile, the native iOS app is still pending approval from Apple. In the interim, iOS users can still utilize Google+ by opening plus.google.com in mobile Safari. The page allows users to enjoy the basic Google+ functions. HP Offers $50 TouchPad Rebate To Palm Pre, Pre Plus, Pixi, or Pixi Plus Users

HP hopes to reward existing Palm Pre, Pre Plus, Pixi, or Pixi Plus smartphone users with an added incentive to purchase a HP 32GB TouchPad. Verizon 4G Galaxy Tab 10.1 Tablet Available For Pre-Order

Pre-orders are now available for Verizon’s LTE Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both the 16GB and 32GB versions of the tab are available in either black or white. Prices start at $630 for the 16GB and $730 for the 32GB without a contract. Signing up for a two year data contract will reduce the corresponding prices by $100. Verizon estimates the shipping time frame to be four to six weeks. Google Talk Video Chat Now Working For T-Mobile Nexus S

T-Mobile Nexus S users were especially excited to update to Android 2.3.4 just for the ability to use Google Talk video chat. Better yet, T-Mobile promised the video chat service to be enabled over both 3G and Wi-Fi networks. Unfortunately, many users quickly realized video calls were not able to be placed while on Wi-Fi, limiting users only to 3G. Verizon Puts Brakes On Motorola Android 2.3 Updates To Work Out Bugs?

Many Motorola Droid 2, Droid 2 Global, and DroidX2 users have been patiently waiting for the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update to arrive. However, sources at Droid-Life claim that Verizon has rejected all Android 2.3 updates from Motorola after a list of bugs surfaced from the DroidX’s 2.3 update. Reported issues include lag time, re-booting, and a short battery life. Inside sources at Motorola claim update teams have been assembled to start resolving the issues. Analyst Report Indicates iPhone 5 Launch Target For End Of September

Christmas may come early this year for iPhone enthusiasts, as a new report points production for the iPhone 5 to begin in middle to late August. The August production timeline suggests a device launch targeted near the second half of September or even later.
