Just a few short weeks ago, Netflix updated their mobile app to support most Android 2.2 and 2.3 devices. While that sounded exciting at first, a few devices like the LG Thrill 4G and T-Mobile’s G2X were left dealing with bugs that included the app not starting at all. Bummer- we know. Good news though, as Netflix has released a minor update which claims to have solved those issues, and now fully supports the LG Thrill 4G and G2X. If you were left annoyed by this, and want to get the latest Netflix app, head over to the Android Market now for a stress-free, movie streaming weekend.  Source

Spotify Loses the Invite Only and Is Now Open to All, Offering Free Unlimited Music for Six Months

It only took a few short months for Spotify to land in the United States and launch its beta music streaming service. In that short window of time millions of users have signed up and are loving all that Spotify has to offer. The progression has led the company to ditch the ‘invite only’ model it launched with, and open itself up to everyone in the US. If that wasn’t exciting enough, Spotify is sweetening the deal by offering free unlimited streaming for six months. “For music to be inherently social it needs to be an open model, and that’s why we decided to do it today,”

In what seems like the year’s longest teaser campaign for a smartphone, the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II launch is almost here. AT&T announced the device will launch October 2nd for $199 with a two-year contract. The $199 price tag is the same pricing that Sprint launched their variant, the Epic 4G. Considering the smartphone’s ultra-thin profile, super fast Exynos dual-core processor, and 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, it seems like a reasonable amount to charge. So the question simply becomes, who’s buying? New AT&T subscribers can choose from the standard variety of data packages, with $15/mo being the minimum required. Don’t forget to

Future Rhyme owners can look forward to a 3.7-inch WVGA display, a single-core 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage space, a non-removable battery, microSD expansion slot, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS radios and dual 5MP / VGA
