Sneak Peak At Motorola Droid RAZR: Ahead of Tomorrow’s Official Launch

In Motorola’s attempt to tease the public about its upcoming device, it ironically uncovered more than maybe they originally intended to. We got our first taste of the Motorola Spyder or otherwise known as the Droid RAZR when it was first introduced to the public in a teaser that included its real name on the image file. Oops. In a second teaser the sneak peak was designed as missing puzzles pieces which would come together as the launch date drew nearer. Great concept, but Motorola left one full image hiding out in the open for all to see. So much for surprises. From what we

Nokia 710 Spied On Developer Site

Just a few shorts days before the big Nokia World 2011 event, the 710 has been recently spied on a developer site. According to MyNokiaBlog, the 710 is longer and wider than the MeeGo-powered N9, with a 1.4GHz Cortex A8 processor, a 3.7-inch TFT screen and a five megapixel camera capable of 720p video-capture. The specs were quickly pulled down from the dev site, but not before MyNokiaBlog was able to grab the screen shot below. While we’ll have to wait just a little while longer until Nokia confirms additional specs, we’re hoping the 710 turns out to be spectacular enough to keep loyal Nokia enthusiasts excited. Dutch Court Rejects Samsung’s Request to Ban Apple Products

Looks like Samsung’s legal team isn’t having the best of luck over in The Netherlands. According to Reuters, a Dutch court has rejected Samsung’s request to block certain Apple products (mainly the iPhone and iPad products), and found that they did not infringe on any of Samsung’s patents. The Dutch court also rejected Apple’s counterclaims in the case, so it appears neither Samsung or Apple is making any headway in this seemingly never ending battle. The particular patents in this case are actually related to Apple’s 3G telecommunication capabilities, and are not design or technology related like in previous patent disputes. Neither Samsung or Apple

AT&T’s Ralph de la Vega Promises Leaner LTE Handsets With Better Battery Life

At this year’s CTIA 2011, AT&T’s Ralph de la Vega announced plans to bring on a lineup of leaner, less power-intensive smartphones to its recently unveiled 4G network. So how exactly does AT&T plan to combine a leaner design with the joy of an improved battery life? According to de la Vega, the company will incorporate a technology known as “circuit switch fallback”. This technology will use phones running on the operator’s network that use a single radio to ride along the LTE waves, then AT&T will default to a “circuit switch-based 3G” signal when out of range. If this turns out to be true, then the technology could stand to give
