Confirmed November 2nd Launch Date for T-Mobile HTC Radar 4G

Almost a month after T-Mobile unwrapped the HTC Radar 4G in all its Windows Phone 7.5 sweetness, we are finally getting a confirmation on an exact release date along with pricing. Thanks to confirmation from Google’s framework engineer Romain Guy’s Twitter account, we now know that Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) supports USB gamepads and HDMI. Verizon Officially Confirms It Will Carry the Samsung Galaxy Nexus: Launch Date and Pricing Still Unknown

After much industry speculation, Verizon has finally confirmed that it will in fact carry the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The only clue Big Red gave towards an official launch date was “later this year”, and as far as pricing goes, we’re all left in the dark to guess at this point. Samsung Plays Nice and Provides Kernel Source Code for Galaxy Note

Samsung has been playing nice when it comes to offering up its kernel source codes for several of their devices. This time the company has decided to provide the goods on its Galaxy Note. Developers can now work their way to customization heaven as the kernel source code is now available on Samsung’s site. First Renders of the HTC Rezound Released Into the Wild

The first renders of the HTC Rezound, formerly known as the HTC Vigor, have made their way online for all to see. Similar to the Sensation XE the Rezound has a flashier exterior than most other HTC handsets, highlighted by its red glowing soft keys. Spec wise the Rezound is expected to come equipped with a 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM, Beats Audioand an 8MP rear camera. Samsung Seeks to Ban iPhone 4S in Home Turf of South Korea

Perhaps Samsung is hoping to use their home turf advantage as they are “looking into filing a motion in a Korean court to ban the sale of the iPhone 4S in Korea.” According to Samsung communications chief Shin Jong-kyun the company sees no geographical limits when it comes to defending their products. He was quoted saying the following,  “We haven’t limited our legal actions to certain countries. Apple’s Final Farewell to Steve Jobs: Memorial Ceremony Held Today

It was a sad day filled with nostalgia as Apple remembered and honored Steve Jobs in a corporate memorial event hosted today at its Cupertino headquarters. As expected throngs of people came out to say their last farewell to Jobs. Nearby buildings were draped with banners displaying images of Jobs during memorable milestones in his now infamous career. As the US signup page for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is now active, it has given the public an interesting glimpse at which carriers will proudly house the Android 4.0 phone stateside. The carrier preference drop-down not only highlights a Verizon LTE model but also AT&T, C Spire (Cellular South​), MetroPCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. Basically, the only carriers we see missing from the V.I.P list are TracFone and Virgin Mobile​.
