Press Shot of the HTC Edge Leaks Out Into the Wild, Possible First Quad-Core Android Device

In what appears to be the first unofficial press shot of HTC’s most elusive handset, the HTC Edge has finally leaked out into the wild. According to PocketNow, the Edge would be one of the first smartphones to be powered by a quad-core processor. The AP30 chip would clock in at 1.5GHz and could potentially carry double the speed of previous HTC handsets, like the HTC Rezound. Specs still remain under heavy speculation at this point for the Edge, but PocketNow also alludes to the device sporting a 4.7-inch screen with 720p. Verizon Wireless Data Promo: Offers 4GB of Data for $30, Starting November 8th

As part of the ongoing Droid RAZR launch festivities, Verizon Wireless announced a new data promotion it will be kicking off beginning on November 8th. The data promotion doubles 4G plan caps as a way to celebrate the Droid RAZR’s pending arrival.The Droid RAZR smartphone is still expected to launch officially on November 11, at 11:11AM. AT&T Launches the Samsung Focus Flash, Focus S, Skyrocket, and the HTC Vivid: For Sale Now

AT&T had a big day on Sunday as it celebrated the launch of four new handsets for their robust smartphone portfolio. The carrier was most excited to unveil its first two LTE smartphones, the HTC Vivid and the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Both devices run Android 2.3 on 4.5-inch screens and with eight-megapixel back cameras. However, the HTC Vivid has the slower 1.2GHz dual-core processor with a 540×960 screen. Galaxy Nexus System Dump Up For Grabs Now

Thanks to Modaco, we now know a Galaxy Nexus system dump has been released this morning alongside the recovery and boot images from the device. The build of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) is ICL23D, but it’s important to keep in mind that this is still a developer build and won’t be exactly what you will receive when the phone gets its official release. As far as the G-Nex version it could be either the LTE or GSM variant. Apple swiftly released iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 to their developer center in an attempt to rectify issues stemming from its first beta build (iOS 5.0.1 beta) released earlier this week. Developers can retrieve the update now via an iTunes sync or an Over The Air (OTA) update. US Cellular Turns Down iPhone Due to Financial Risk: Claims Apple’s Terms Unacceptable

Just recently we received confirmation that carrier C Spire would be the first regional carrier to sell Apple’s iPhone, and speculation grew that a second regional carrier was in negotiation. However, rumors were quickly dispelled that US Cellular​ would follow in their footsteps as they too were offered a chance to sell the iPhone, but decided to turn it down.
