T-Mobile Doubles 4G Speed and Expands 4G Network To Cover More Locations

In an announcement today, T-Mobile confirmed that their 4G network is now twice as fast, and has expanded to cover more locations than ever before.The network expansion includes coverage in 208 markets across the U.S. and reaches more than 200 million consumers. Verizon Reveals Rugged G’zOne Ravine 2, In Stores November 23rd

Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Verizon Wireless has officially revealed the rugged Casio G’zOne Ravine 2 device along with launch dates and pricing. As expected, the flip-phone meets military-spec 810G standards for resistance to water, shock, dust, vibration, salt, fog, humidity, in addition to  holding up in extreme altitude and temperature conditions. Sony Ericsson Promises All 2011 Xperia Handsets to Receive Android 4.0, Timeline Unknown

Sony Ericsson​ has promised today to bring Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) to its entire lineup of  2011 Xperia handsets. As part of their new Ice Cream Sandwich mission, the company plans to modify their custom interface to the new OS regardless of the device’s size. Handsets will range from the Xperia mini all the way to the Xperia arc S. The only thing missing from the ambitious plan was an expected timeline. HTC Droid Incredible Finally Gets Gingerbread Update

Despite HTC’s Droid Incredible being discontinued for a few months now, users have reported that the handset has finally started to receive some long awaited Gingerbread love. Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet Ships A Day Early, Anyone Get Theirs Yet?

Amazon released a short press statement today that their Kindle Fire slab has shipped a day ahead of schedule (which is today), in order to get the device into user’s hands by the scheduled launch date (which is tomorrow). Reportedly, some consumers have already received the tablet. The Android 2.3 tablet is available in an 8GB version for $199. Apple Launches iTunes Match Service Alongside iTunes 10.5.1

After a significant delay, Apple has officially released their iTunes Match service alongside iTunes 10.5.1. iTunes Match, is a $25 annual subscription service which enables Apple users to maintain an iTunes music library mirrored on Apple servers. Sprint Unleashes Revamped Data Plans and Express Mobile Hotspot Device

In an attempt to beat out the competition, Sprint unleashed new data plans and a new Express Hotspot device for their consumers today. The revamped data plans are a combination of 3G/4G data plans that include a 6GB, $50 per month plan or a 12GB, $80 per month option. Each plan offers 20 percent data at the same price that AT&T and Verizon offer, Sprint explained, where 5GB is the status quo. Overage rates are now five cents per megabyte, and off-network are 25 cents per megabyte. New T-Mobile Strategy Aims To Keep Customers From Jumping Ship For iPhone 4S

In a strategic move to maintain its existing subscriber base, T-Mobile has formulated a new offer in the hopes that its users won’t abandon them for Apple’s iPhone 4S. Existing subscribers are being offered a special upgrade incentive for either the T-Mobile myTouch by LG or the T-Mobile myTouch Q by LG. Sprint Enforces SIM Lock on iPhone 4S, Promises to Reverse It For Users in Good Standing After 90 Days

Sprint made an announcement today that is sure to displease a number of its iPhone 4S customers. The carrier confirmed that starting today they will be pushing a SIM lock onto all of their iPhone 4S devices. Even though Sprint offered its first round of Apple handsets unlocked, the Now Network did make it clear that the policy would eventually change, and it looks like they’re making good on their promise. MSI Releases Afterburner App for iOS Devices

If you are dying to overclock your MSI motherboard and only have an iOS device, then it looks like you’re now in luck.
