Not long after HP announced that the once dead, but now revived webOS platform would be supported through the open source community, another update has just been released. This one bumps TouchPads to version 3.0.5, while Pre 2 and Pre 3 handsets are inching their way up to version 2.2.4. Microsoft Seals Patent Agreement With LG, Now Covers 70 Percent of Android US Smartphone Market

Microsoft is no stranger to the patent agreement games, and in a recent strategic move the software company has just lured in LG. As elaborated in a rather celebratory press announcement Microsoft stated that the deal covers “LG’s tablets, mobile phones and other consumer devices running the Android or Chrome OS Platform.” What grabs our attention is that with this deal Microsoft now covers 70 percent of all Android smartphones sold in the US. Sprint Confirms Their Galaxy Nexus Will Have 32GB of Storage: Sprint Fans Can Breathe Easy Now

According to Mobile Burn, Sprint has confirmed that an original landing page for their Galaxy Nexus was incorrect in stating it would have only 16GB of storage. The Now Network reaffirmed that just like Verizon’s model, their Galaxy Nexus will also rock 32GB of internal storage space. Sprint subscribers hoping to get a slice of their own Ice Cream Sandwich can now rest assured that they will have plenty of room for all of their apps, pictures, and music. Verizon Teams Up With The Daily To Launch Android App On Select Devices

The popular news application from The Daily, which has done phenomenally well on the iPad, has now been announced as heading towards the Android Market thanks to Verizon Wireless. The two companies have decided to join forces to bring Verizon users the subscription based application to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 first.
