How to Unroot the Huawei U8300
Maybe you’ve messed-up with your Huawei U8300 smartphone? Maybe you want to send it in for warranty reasons? Either way, this guide should help you. The Huawei U8300 was rooted using the famous z4Root app and we’ll be using the same app to unroot the device. All it takes to unroot the device is a click of a button, here’s how:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure might not work for you.
2. Make sure your device has at least 30% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. z4Root APK (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Unrooting the Huawei U8300:
1. Download and place the z4Root APK file onto your Desktop.
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the APK file over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once the APK has been copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
5. Head to Menu>>Settings>>Applications on your device and enable the Unknown sources option.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the app you copied earlier to your device.
7. Once the app’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
8. Hit Unroot button in the app and it’ll begin unrooting your device.
9. And you’re all done!
